In the rapidly evolving world of blockchain, staying ahead means leveraging every bit of data available. At Liquify we craft gateways to a world of insights, transforming complex blockchain data into actionable intelligence. With our recent update to THORChain’s Node Monitor, it’s time to spotlight the power of Liquify’s dashboards and the impactful data insights they offer.
Blockchains are unique in their transparency and open nature, however, aside from running a node and looking into the chain data yourself, it can be challenging to get good insights. Dashboards are a necessary aspect of a thriving blockchain’s ecosystem that helps its community to stay up to date. The more eyes we have on these public ledgers, the more control we have, and therefore, security. Whether you’re a blockchain enthusiast or a professional looking for deeper understanding, our dashboards are your lens into the intricate workings of decentralised networks.
What do Liquify Dashboards have to offer?
At Liquify, our dashboards are designed to offer a clear and detailed view of chain data and validator nodes. We provide detailed visibility into node addresses, client versions they are running, showing locations of these nodes and identifying the ISPs hosting them, such as AWS. This detailed data is crucial, as it enables users to understand the geographical distribution and technological diversity of the nodes, fostering a deeper comprehension of network resilience and operational efficiency.

On the performance side, our dashboards track critical metrics including the amount staked, missed blocks, uptime percentage, rewards generated, and any slashes. This performance data is particularly valuable as it provides key insights into the efficiency and profitability of blockchain operations, enabling users to make informed decisions based on the health and output of their nodes or of the nodes they chose to delegate towards.
Our extensive network encompasses nodes across over 50 different chains, enabling us to construct tailored dashboards that provide comprehensive information, democratising the access and understanding of what is going on within these decentralised systems. Part of Liquify’s services are RPCs, Archival Nodes, Snapshots and SubGraphs, each playing a pivotal role in the creation of analytical tools like dashboards.
Our freshly updated THORChain Dashboard is fully customisable
A perfect example of building a dashboard for an ecosystem we have been active in was for THORChain. We have been running this main dashboard for close to two years and allows node managers and interested users alike with insights on the network’s overall health.
THORChain is an independent permissionless Layer 1 cross-chain decentralised exchange (DEX) built on the Cosmos SDK. Quite a mouthful! But it delivers on its promise. Whereas other cross-chain bridges and DEXs give a UX nightmare due to a plethora of wrapped asset choices, THORChain allows you to swap native assets, keeping it nice and simple. The holy grail of cross-chain swapping if you will.
Such a powerful chain needs a powerful dashboard. THORChain’s dashboard is therefore full of customised data insights. And not just the dashboard itself is customised towards the needs of THORChain, you are able to customise the dashboard to your own preferences as well.

As THORChain requires its Bonders to run multiple nodes of other chains for its cross-chain DEX to work permissionlessly, our dashboard showcases per chain if a bonding node is active or behind.

Thanks to this dashboard, these Bonders will know where there errors are coming from
The multiple data points allow node managers to check up on their node easily, as common errors are highlighted. This helps with quickly seeing if your node is set up correctly, including checking your Node Score compared to others.
As blockchains constantly evolve and get updated, we at Liquify are evolving along. Our most recent update involved multiple new features requested by community members that were not available before. It is now possible to look up historical information around a specific node’s reward and slashing history and how at any point in time your node performed compared to others. This is now also viewable as a graph for a more clear view of your standing within the ranks.
Another new graph is the total bond on top of THORChain.

Bond on THORChain has been rising significantly recently, showing great growth of its ecosystem.
As node management is maturing, more bonders are requiring institution grade information on their performance. We have made sure to fulfil the most requested feature of accounting. The dashboard now allows comprehensive reporting for node earnings. You can effortlessly generate detailed reports across all past churns with just a few clicks.

The Liquify team is not done yet! Further upgrades are being worked on for THORChain. One of the requested features is historical reporting of Bond slashes (these get burned on THORChain) and a comprehensive Network Health Panel showing the various chains connected to THORChain and information regarding general pauses of the network.
If there is anything you think is missing, be sure to let us know! We value community feedback highly.
And as a final note, all APIs that were used by Liquify to create this dashboard are public here for anyone to use and build their own custom dashboards!
If your project wants to have a transparent place for your community to see quick insights on all that is happening within your ecosystem, be sure to contact us.
